How much does tree removal cost in Puerto Rico?+
Most residential tree removals in Puerto Rico fall between $300 and $2,500 depending on size, location, and complexity. Palm tree removal typically runs $300-$1,500. Large or hazardous removals near structures can run above that range. An ISA Certified Arborist comes out for a written quote - the $40 orientation is credited to your final bill when you book.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree in Puerto Rico?+
Some species protected by DRNA (the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources) require permits. Trees in historic districts also require approval. We help our customers identify when a permit is needed and can assist with the application.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency tree service?+
Yes. 24/7 emergency and storm response is available by phone at (787) 969-7802 - call any time, day or night, and we will get a crew moving to make the tree safe. If a tree is on a power line, call 911 and LUMA at 1-844-888-5862 as well: LUMA has to de-energize the line before anyone can touch the tree.
How does the on-site orientation work?+
An ISA Certified Arborist comes to your property, evaluates the work, and gives you a written quote you can keep. The visit is $40 - and it's credited to your final bill when you book.
Do you work across all of Puerto Rico?+
Yes. We send crews across all 78 municipalities. Scheduling depends on distance and crew availability, but we serve the entire island.
How fast can you get out after a storm?+
We respond fast. For an emergency - a tree on a roof, a car, or blocking the only way out - call (787) 969-7802 any time; emergency response runs 24/7. Non-urgent storm cleanup is scheduled as soon as crews and road access allow; after a major storm, timing depends on volume and road access. If a power line is involved, call 911 and LUMA too.
Do you remove stumps?+
Yes. We offer both stump grinding (below grade) and full stump removal (excavation). Grinding is the standard, faster method. Full removal is needed if you plan to replant or build on the exact spot.
Are you licensed and insured?+
Yes. Our crews carry general liability and workers' comp coverage. We can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to any property manager, HOA, or commercial client on request.
